    Instructions:

    1. Place your Gas Level Indicator (USI-GLM) on a clean area on the lower half of the cylinder.
    2. Turn on the gas and wait 10 minutes before you can read your Indicator. But it’s to keep in mind that the gas level indicator gives you the information of the actual gas level in case it is beeing used.

    Note: The level of the gas bottles can be accurately read only after use, virtually after the gas has cooled down.
    TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
    When the gas cylinder is used, the gas that is liquid in the cylinder becomes vaporous. This causes a drop in temperature. The temperature in the upper part of the bottle (where the gas is gaseous) is therefore different from the temperature in the lower part of the bottle (where the gas is still liquid). Exactly these different temperatures can be displayed by the USI-GLM (Gas level MOnitor). The vertical bars of the gas Level Monitor show the temperature difference at the gas cylinder. Which bars light up also depends on the ambient temperature. This Monitor works at an ambient temperature (air temperature) of 0°C to 50°C.

    Only when the level drops below the level of the upper edge of the USI-GLM will color differences appear in the column.
